One useful one to note for schools or adults is the extensive biography of Shavckleton found in the 'Academic Kids' Encyclopedia, which helpfully draws together and makes available material from a wide range of sources.

The very full outline of his achievements can be found at http://academickids.com/encyclopedia/index.php/SirErnestShackleton

The site also offers LINKS to a range of other information for Shackleton fans, including on Antarctica and on the current and previous Antarctic Research and Support ship HMS Endurance.
